1:1 Teaching Assistant

We are a happy, child centred primary school looking for a nurturing and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our hardworking team.

We are looking for someone with ambition and vision; someone who will thrive on our core values of Community, Aspiration, Respect and Equality as well as sharing our goal of making a real difference to children’s lives.

The successful candidate will have a positive attitude, be enthusiastic and have high aspirations for children’s learning and behaviour. They will consistently place children at the heart of everything they do.

We welcome applications from both experienced Teaching Assistants and those looking to start their career in education. Previous experience of working with SEND children is desirable but not essential. You will be joining the Inclusion Team and will assist with the provision for an individual pupil by providing a positive, nurturing relationship which will promote self-esteem and learning.

The successful candidate will have to meet the requirements of the person specification and will be subject to the relevant pre-employment checks which will, where applicable, include a health check, an enhanced DBS check, the Children’s Barred List check and satisfactory references.

Salary range

Grade 3 SCP3 £18,887 to Grade 4 SCP5 £19,650 pro rata
