Dear Reception and Y1-3 parents, next Tuesday on the 28^th June we are hosting a 'Summertime Stories' celebration of reading event for Reception, Year 1, Year 2 and Year 3 children. 

 

The event will run from 1700 - 1800 and will be chance for children to come back into school for an evening story and treat with teachers from Abbey Woods.

 

They will go home as normal at 1515 but will return at 1700 in non-uniform to settle down under a shady tree for special evening story time with a teacher.

 

We are running this to celebrate reading and give children a really fun outside of school hours story experience. 

 

Children will need to be picked up at 1800 from the school gate by a parent or carer.
